You have a chronic illness/ disability, you are registered with AEO and your class is not providing an expected accommodation --> Contact me right away to meet and chat. Be in touch with your AEO officer, if you haven't already.
You have a chronic illness/ disability, you are NOT registered with AEO and you're having difficulties managing your academic workload --> Contact me right away to meet and chat. Then check out AEO and consider registering with them for accommodations.
What the hell is AEO?! --> Read about it here.
You have a chronic illness, you've been managing it on your own and do not want AEO involved --> this is absolutely okay and you're right to remain private about your conditions. This also means you will need to navigate requesting and receiving support on an individual and case-by-case basis which may prove exhausting and frustrating.
You've been having a lot of conversations about what it would be like to take some time off --> Go here.
Your future employer/supervisor/graduate school wants your transcript --> Go here.
Whoops, it's past the Fifth Monday and you want to drop a course. WELP --> Go here.
