Join the Harvard Votes Challenge and review below all the information that you'll need to register to vote and cast your ballot during the US 2020 Presidential Primary election season:
You can register here in Massachusetts or in your home state! Register wherever you’d prefer. The Massachusetts deadline is this Wednesday, Feb. 12!!!!
If you need help registering for the first time, let our team know and you can obtain a voter registration form in our centralized hub in the Winthrop Dining Hall next to the elevator or register online (if your state allows).
If you are an independent or unaffiliated voter, check if your state has an open or closed primary here. If you state has a closed primary, you must be registered to that party in order to vote in their primary.
2. Request your absentee ballot or, if you’re voting in Cambridge, find your polling place!
We have a centralized hub for voter registration and absentee ballot request forms in the Winthrop House Dining Hall next to the elevator. You will find absentee ballot request forms by state, voter registration forms, envelopes and stamps. You can mail your envelopes at the entrance to the Winthrop House mailboxes where it says US Mail.

3. VOTE
For more information, visit voteschallenge.harvard.edu/voting.
One flag; if you’re registered in NEW YORK and would like to vote in a party primary, the party registration form is due to your county office by Friday, February 14! If you are already registered to a party, don’t forget to request your absentee ballot.
